I have been corresponding with Nathaniel Gurien of Fincann about a payment processing service they offer. It seems to be called "PIN debit" and it seems to be distinct from cashless ATM and ACH transfer.#
The claim that Mr. Gurien is making is that it is sufficiently different from other debit-based transactions that it is formally and officially sanctioned for cannabis transactions by the big networks like VISA and Discover.#
This seems like an extraordinary claim to me, and I'm definitely on the lookout for vendors trying to scare us and then sell us solutions that aren't actually any better than what we're using. But I'm open to learning more.#
